2017 Southern Architecture Awards Winner
The Dacha House, a lodge designed by Wanaka architect Eliska Lewis was one of the winners in the Housing category of the NZIA Southern Architecture Awards.
This generous home is all about the views, providing magnificent panoramic views of Lake Wanaka and its spectacular mountainous landscape from every room.
Throughout the house the attention to detail is evident and the material selection is just perfect. The combination of the schist stonework the timber ceilings, and the Joubert Gaboon Plywood on the soffits, wall lining and cabinetry work throughout this property delivers so much character. The perfect combination of texture, warmth and contrast.
